Back on 3 May, 1910 when a Moe-Walhalla Railway was officially opened by the Premier John Murray, a very special moment in time was created. Over 200 faces of the period looked back at the camera to create a photograph that has captured generations. For 100 years this has been one of the most famous images of Walhalla.
In 2010, 100 years after this famous and endearing photograph was taken, we will recreate this famous image to celebrate "A Moment in Time"....21st Century style!
We're looking for faces to the part of the 2010 photo...make sure you're part of the picture. This is a "one in one hundred year" opportunity. DON'T MISS IT! Bookings are now open [online only].
Everyone who participates in "A Moment in Time" will receive a print of the photo as a treasured momento of the day.
Tickets to be part of the picture are;
Adults $28, Concession/Student $20, Children/infants $15, WGR Members $20, WHDL Members $20.
The photograph will be taken in the Walhalla station yard at 12noon on Sunday 16 May, 2010 - DON'T BE LATE!

All "A Moment in Time" tickets are NON REFUNDABLE.
Copyright of the photograph taken on the day will remain with the Walhalla Goldfields Railway and Walhalla Heritage & Development League. No individual photos can be taken. Your position within the photograph will be at the sole discretion of the organisers. The photograph selection provided to you will be at the sole discretion of the organisers.

Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability

This waiver is provided to you by the Walhalla Goldfields Railway and the Walhalla Heritage & Development League and should be construed by you as a risk warning.
· I accept and being permitted to participate in the "A Moment in Time" agree to this release of claims, waiver of liability and assumption of risk.
· I understand that the Trade Practices Act 1974 will imply into my contract with the organisers of "A Moment in Time" certain non-excludable conditions and warranties. Except to the extent that I have non-excludable rights under the Trade Practices Act 1974, I waive any and all rights I may now and in the future have against, and release from all liability and agree not to sue the organisers of "A Moment in Time" and its officers, employees, guides, agents, contractors or sponsors for any personal injury, death, property damage or loss sustained by me as a result of my participation in the "A Moment in Time" due to any cause whatsoever, including without limitation, negligence on the part of the organisers of "A Moment in Time" and its officers, employees, guides, agents, contractors or sponsors.
· I accept all the inherent risks of the "A Moment in Time" and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or loss resulting therefrom.
· I agree that if I suffer injury or illness, the organisers of "A Moment in Time" can, at my cost, arrange medical treatment and emergency evacuation services, as the organisers deem essential for my safety.
· I confirm that I am at an age of legal consent (that is 18 years or older in Australia) and that I have read and understand this agreement prior to signing it and agree that this agreement will be binding on my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and successors.
· I agree to abide by all directions given by the "A Moment in Time" operators and its officers, employees, guides, agents, contractors or sponsors.
· I agree that this agreement shall be governed in all respects by and interpreted in accordance with the law of Australia.
